>Initially released as a mixtape in 2018, channel 1 is the first full length release by kami. Influenced by acts such as Nujabes and J dilla, this release takes a step toward lofi hip hop. Retroactively considered to be a demo tape due to the rough sound and structure. "Bloodflowers" was released as the first KAMI single. "The sirens" was later remade into "SIRENS REPRISE", released on the album STAR CRIMINAL. The cover art is an edited image of an electrical tower i took near my apartment.
